
On January 1, 2026, we kick off the new free 21-day 10’ Workout Challenge, a challenge with two clear goals:
- If you are just starting to train: To establish a training habit so it becomes part of your daily life.
- If you already have a plan: To add extra intensity and discipline to your routines and start the year in the best way possible.
Through this challenge, we want to convey and put into practice our values of daily self-improvement, discipline, excellence, community, and the promotion of physical and mental health. This way, our users will start the year united with a clear and direct goal...
Goal for the 21-Day Challenge
Each day you will have a short routine, which can be done in approximately 10 minutes, with options available for beginners, intermediates, or advanced users, as well as an equipment-free version.
For those just starting out
If you have decided to start training as a resolution for 2026, this challenge will help you establish that habit. Since it is a short routine you can do in 10 minutes, it won't require massive willpower or taking up a huge part of your day—simply open the app and do it.
This way, with a small daily commitment, you will get used to training and including workouts in your regular schedule.
Plus, you will get to try different basic exercises and routine types, giving you a broad overview of what Calisthenics training is all about. So, when the challenge ends, you will have a clearer idea of what you can achieve.
For those already training
If you already have a regular training plan, we propose this challenge as a supplement to add a little extra intensity to your routine and start the year improving your fitness and endurance.
Since they are short 10-minute routines, you can do them at the end of your regular session, or as a quick, light workout on your rest days.
Get motivated with this mini-challenge to start 2026 with discipline and intensity, and ensure you are ready to achieve all your goals.
Session Format
As mentioned, each day includes a session for every difficulty level and one to do at home without equipment.
Throughout the challenge, we will test different formats, such as full-body sessions, movement patterns, ladders, circuits, EMOMs... But always with a clear time limit of around 10 minutes.
For beginners, this serves as a way to try different training styles, and for those already training, it provides variety and novel stimuli.
Do the challenge as a community
Since this is a challenge we are doing on a specific date (starting January 1, 2026), the entire Calisteniapp community will be doing it simultaneously and sharing our progress via the @calisteniapp Instagram and our Discord community. We would love for you to share your daily progress and how you are feeling.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is it free for everyone?
Yes, the challenge will be free for everyone who starts it on January 1, 2026. So don’t get distracted and join now so the app notifies you with the daily routine.
Once it ends (on January 21), it will become available exclusively to PRO users. Therefore, only PRO users will be able to repeat the challenge whenever they want or do it on their preferred dates.
Can anyone of any level do it?
Every day of the challenge includes an option for beginners, one for intermediates, one for advanced users, and one to do at home without equipment. So, whatever your level or situation, there is no problem.
Do I need equipment to do it?
As mentioned, there is a "no equipment" option every day, so you can easily do it at home. You will only need a floor, a wall, and at most a chair, armchair, small table, bench, or similar height for exercises like incline push-ups or Bulgarian squats.
What happens if I skip a day?
If you miss a workout one day, you have three options:
- Catch up the next day by doing two routines.
- Follow the course of the challenge and postpone the finish date by one day.
- Skip that day and continue with the next one.
We strongly recommend option 1 so you can keep the same pace as everyone doing it live, allowing us all to finish at the same time. Also, keep in mind that if you are participating as a free user, the 21st will be the last day it is available for free. So, if you want to finish later, you would need to become a PRO user.
Can I do the challenge at another time?
For PRO users, the challenge will remain available to do whenever they want.
