Assisted Straddle Planche push-up with resistance band
Anterior Deltoid - Biceps - Upper Chest - Triceps

- Place a resistance band above you and support it on your hips to offload part of your body weight. Get into a straddle planche position with your hands on the floor or mini parallettes, elbows locked, and scapulae protracted, keeping your body parallel to the ground. Maintain your hips aligned with your shoulders and ankles, with a slight posterior pelvic tilt and even tension throughout your torso.
- From that position, bend your elbows in a controlled manner to lower your body as a unit, without losing the forward lean or body line. Then push the floor and extend your elbows to return to the starting position, keeping your shoulders in front of your hands throughout the movement.
- Complete each repetition with control and let the band assist you only without altering your technique. Adjust the assistance so you can move through the full range of motion without collapsing your shoulders at any point.
